  • Retrieving data, particularly concerning incoming shipments, historical sales, inventory status, and open orders, proves to be time-consuming and cumbersome.

Dependency on Dashboard Development

  • Traditionally, the authority to access new information is centralized within the IT team, responsible for planning and constructing dashboards.

  • Business users face obstacles in dynamically requesting and receiving real-time information without continual IT intervention.  

Solutions

Blending ChatGPT4 with an Open-Source LLM

We employed a methodical strategy, conducting experiments with multiple LLMs to assess their accuracy, comprehension of warehouse concepts, suitability for handling sensitive data, and proficiency in generating SQL queries.

Acknowledging the prowess of ChatGPT4, a hybrid strategy was suggested. This approach entailed merging the reasoning abilities of ChatGPT4 with an open-source LLM.

This strategic fusion aimed to produce precise responses while safeguarding the confidentiality of sensitive data. By exclusively disclosing the schema to ChatGPT4 and conducting queries within an SQL engine, a harmonious equilibrium between precision and data security was attained.
