Helped in improving the public utility asset management and maintenance processes in a short time
The client was constantly faced with challenges such as lack of connectivity which led to interruptions in work, regression of manual processes, and limited use amongst field technicians. And difficult situations like this called for a different approach which was fulfilled by the EAM360 mobile app. After performing a fit GAP analysis, scrutiny of essential VS desirable requirements and conducting vendor interviews- EAM360, powered by Maximo was chosen to implement COH’s implementation solution.
What we anticipated along the journey
With no let up in safety, service standards and modernizing their delivery assets, the client is faced with increasingly challenges to do more with less.
Managing huge volumes of Asset & location data (800K+) from a mobile platform
Complying with highly secure identity, access & security standards
Offline mapping features to facilitate work in remote places
Non-tech savvy and ageing workforce
How we enhanced the public utility asset management lifecycle for a city with our mobile app

Empowering the client to make informed decisions for their business
The simple and user friendly UI & UX of the application has enabled ease in adaptability and usage of the system.
Significant improvements in wrench time/ productivity due to faster data entry (from 10 minutes to 2 minutes per work order) and offline availability of geospatial data.
Reduced backlog due to real-time work assignments and also increased opportunity for maintenance with features to view nearby open work orders from the mobile app which helps to complete the work while visiting works locations.
Better work control due to easy access to availability of safety alerts and safety documents in the Mobile App on the go.
Inventory accuracy & Reduced stock-outs due to effective recording of material usage from the mobile app
